Wave Icon PANTELLERIA, ITALY

Pilates & Yoga Retreat | June 3 – 8, 2025

South of Sicily and not far from the shores of Tunisia, Pantelleria is known as the black pearl of Mediterranean. This wild, volcanic island is a place of elemental beauty: lava-carved cliffs and sun-beaten land scattered with capers and figs. It’s the kind of place that still feels like a secret — untouched by mass tourism, carved by wind, stone, and sea. A natural stillness pervades, the kind that makes you want to slow down and soften into yourself.

Set on a remote five-hectare estate, the retreat unfolds at Parco dei Sesi, an agriturismo grounded in the island’s ancient rhythms. Dotted across the land are dammusi — traditional lava-stone dwellings with domed ceilings and thick walls. Inside, each space feels timeless: whitewashed and cool, with arched doorways, hand-tiled floors, and a curated blend of artworks and handcrafted objects. Everything opens onto the Mediterranean gardens just steps from the pool.

The retreat is led by Aimé Breiner, co-founder of the chic Maité Studio in Vienna, whose pilates classes focus on breath, alignment, and building strength with ease. She is joined by Jana, a movement and mindfulness guide known for her dynamic pilates, yoga, and meditation practices.

Days follow a gentle, grounding rhythm — beginning with morning silence, breath-led movement, and nourishing meals. Afternoons are slow and sun-soaked, spent sipping iced matchas or indulging in self-care rituals. As the light softens, evenings ease into restorative yoga and candlelit dinners beneath the stars.

To get here, fly to Palermo or Trapani and take a short domestic flight to Pantelleria’s tiny airport. It’s a journey, but that’s the point. You arrive having left something behind.

Wave Icon KEA, GREECE

Elemental Wisdom | July 20 – 25, 2025

Tucked into the Aegean, just an hour’s ferry from Athens, Kea is often overlooked in favour of its glossier Cycladic neighbours. With ancient trails and untouched coastline, the island feels like a place suspended in time — where mythology and nature converge.

This retreat is held at Kea Retreat, a boutique hotel set within a protected natural reserve. Built in stone and surrounded by native herbs and olive trees, its suites balance minimalist elegance with earthy textures and sweeping sea views for an atmosphere that’s both grounding and quietly luxurious.

Led by Paula Gissel Yama, — a sound therapist, painter, and yoga guide rooted in the ancestral wisdom of her Oaxacan lineage — the retreat is less of a programme and more of a ceremony. Each day is shaped by the elements, inviting guests into practices that awaken the Root and Throat chakras through movement, meditation, voice work, and ritual. Her offerings are sensorial and deeply felt: a weaving of water, earth, sound, and stillness that guide guests back to their own inner rhythm.

Mornings begin slowly, with grounding yoga, guided meditation, and nourishing meals prepared with local island produce. Afternoons unfold with painting meditations, ancestral voice activation, or rest beneath the olive trees. There is time to swim in the sea, to walk the land, to be still. Evenings close in ritual, with sound journeys, restorative movement, and shared meals under the salty Aegean sky.

More than a retreat, this is a return to rhythm — of body, land, and spirit. Rooted in ancestral wisdom, it invites a quiet reconnection with what’s always been within.

Wave Icon PUGLIA, ITALY

Embodied Retreat | August 13 – 19, 2025

On the coast of Puglia, just above the Ionian Sea, the light settles gently over olive groves, inviting you to slow down without even trying. Masseria Specula, a traditional Puglian farmhouse set on twenty hectares of private land, blends rural simplicity with thoughtful design. Think sweeping terraces that look out toward turquoise waters, sun-drenched courtyards, and the quiet charm of whitewashed stone and arched ceilings.

Led by Francesca Valarezo and Julia Padavona, the retreat offers a grounded and expansive approach to movement and restoration. Julia’s pilates and yoga sessions draw on her background in dance and feminine embodiment, while Francesca — a breathwork and sound healing practitioner based in New York — is the kind of teacher who shifts a room with her presence alone.

With energising morning yoga or pilates, the days find their rhythm early. Afternoons are unhurried, whether refreshing in the Ionian’s clear waters or wandering through the charming nearby towns. As dusk settles, the retreat shifts inward: restorative yin yoga followed by abundant Puglian dinners, lovingly prepared by a private chef and shared in the quiet embrace of the masseria.

All that’s left to do is surrender to the slow, restorative rhythm of the southern Italian summertime and let it work its quiet magic, while held in the care of truly transformative guides.

What we’re most called to experience…

A breathwork journey with Francesca — we’ve witnessed the depth of her energy work firsthand and can say without hesitation that it’s deeply transformative.

IBIZA, SPAIN

Soul Alchemy | October 12 – 17, 2025

It’s easy to forget, until you arrive in the island’s northeast, that Ibiza was once a land of olive groves, silence, and starlit rituals. This retreat takes place in a softer kind of landscape — nestled in the hills, Aguamadera is a restored 19th-century finca surrounded by forest and Balearic light. Terracotta floors, wood-beamed ceilings, and hand-built details in clay and stone create a feeling of quiet elegance, while spacious suites offer king beds, rain showers, and the kind of calm you carry with you long after you leave.

The retreat is guided by Steffy White, whose teachings blend vinyasa, kundalini, yin, and meditation — ideal for those seeking a safely held space for ritual, release and deep presence.

Days begin in stillness — journaling and warming up the body with herbal teas, followed by sunrise chanting. Morning practices offer a blend of kundalini, vinyasa, or yin, depending on the day’s energy, before gathering for an abundant, plant-based brunch. Afternoons are intentionally spacious: time to explore, rest, or get a nourishing treatment. As the sun dips, the group reconvenes for an evening practice — whether a grounding yoga flow or immersive sound bath — before sitting down together for a chef-prepared dinner surrounded by the soothing evening sounds of the countryside.

For those seeking more than rest but a space to move with intention and listen inward. Immersed in nature and held within a private sanctuary, it’s an experience that invites a quiet return to your higher self.

What we’re most called to experience…

Guided sunrise chanting in the tune of nature, as the first light spills over the hills.

MARRAKESH, MOROCCO

The Zen One | October 11 – 18, 2025

To journey between the terracotta calm of the desert and the breeze-blown Atlantic is to experience Morocco’s landscapes as a kind of meditation. This retreat traces the passage from the warm stillness of Marrakesh to the coastal light of Essaouira, where tiled archways, rose gardens, and timeless rituals create space for presence and ritual.

The experience is guided by Anna Haddad, founder of the much-loved ONEYOGAHOUSE in Brooklyn, whose teachings weave together Katonah-inspired vinyasa, functional movement, and sound.

Beginning in Marrakesh at Beldi Country Club, desert gardens and views of the Atlas Mountains set the tone: warm, earthy, and unhurried. Handmade tiles, arched doorways, and layered Moroccan textiles create a sense of rooted luxury, while garden paths and private terraces offer space to slow down and soften.

On day five, you’ll travel west to Les Jardins de Villa Maroc in Essaouira, a coastal sanctuary perched above the Atlantic. Breezy courtyards, hammams, and sea-facing rooms lend a softer rhythm, inviting restoration through the senses.

Mornings begin with vinyasa practice followed by a fresh seasonal breakfast, shared in the garden courtyard. From there, the days unfold into spacious afternoons — whether exploring the vibrant souks of Marrakesh’s ancient Medina, enjoying herbalist-led tea experiences and Moroccan cooking classes or unwinding with poolside rest and hammam rituals and treatments. As the light fades, sound healing and yoga nidra lead into candlelit dinners accompanied by local flavors, live music, or the quiet of the coastal evening.

An immersion for all the senses, this retreat is a soulful way to experience Morocco — where wellness meets cultural richness.
