South of Mexico City in Tepoztlán’s sacred valley, this retreat offers a quiet pause for reflection and renewal. Led by Flow House founders Alexa Baboun and Anick Vorbe, mornings move through power vinyasa practice, while evenings soften into restorative yoga and sensorial rituals. From immersive sound journeys to the transformative heat of Temazcal, each practice is thoughtfully curated to support a grounded return to self. The week is further enriched by local practitioners invited to share their gifts, drawing from the region’s deep healing traditions.

The Destination
In the highlands of Morelos, south of Mexico City, Tepoztlán rests in a sacred valley beneath El Tepozteco’s cliffs. Set within this landscape, Amomoxtli is a Michelin Key–recognized boutique hotel, is known for lush green gardens, mountain views, and quiet, star-bright nights. Fresh mountain air and jacaranda shade settle over the gardens, shaping a quiet setting for rest and reconnection, rooted in place and tradition.

The Retreat Host
Alexa Baboun and Anick Vorbe are yoga teachers, creatives, and the founders of Flow House — a space devoted to healing, growth, and transformation. Both originally from Haiti, their shared roots and love for mindful practices shape the way they hold space, blending movement, stillness, and ritual into every retreat.
Alexa, also the founder of clean beauty brand Babe Essentials, teaches powerful, breath-led flows designed to empower and release. Anick brings a calming presence and an eye for beauty, infusing her restorative classes and spaces with a quiet, nurturing energy. Together, they create safe, inspiring spaces for others to reset, reconnect, and return to themselves — one breath at a time.
