Set within the lush hills of Vieques, this 10-day retreat at boutique hotel Finca Victoria unfolds as a journey of deep purification and renewal. The experience begins with a traditional Ayurvedic Panchakarma — five days devoted to cleansing and restoring the body to its natural state of balance. Daily rituals, nourishing meals, and therapeutic treatments create space for the body to release and regenerate, while yoga, sound-healing, and plant-based nourishment ground each day in rhythm and vitality. Beyond the detox, the retreat expands into sacred shamanic ceremonies and embodiment practices, weaving together ancient healing traditions in a setting of wild Caribbean beauty.

The Destination
Located just off the coast of mainland Puerto Rico, Vieques Island is known for its untamed beaches, bioluminescent bays, and quiet pace — a place where wild horses roam freely and nature remains largely untouched. Rooted in its wild hills, Finca Victoria is surrounded by dense jungle and sweeping views of the Caribbean Sea. A landscape of untamed forest, ocean air, and open sky that holds the quiet, wild spirit of the island.

The Retreat Host
Sylvia De Marco, founder of Finca Victoria and Ayurvedic consultant, guides the yoga sessions and shares her practices as an invitation to return to balance and deeper connection.
She is joined by a dedicated team of practitioners supporting the Panchakarma journey: Ayurvedic health counselor and herbalist Lindsay Calloway, who brings her expertise in plant medicine and personalized treatments; Ayurvedic specialist and bodyworker Mónica Casanova, whose trauma-informed approach is rooted in yoga, Ayurveda, and ancestral wisdom; and musician and transformational coach Kano Mai, who offers sound and shamanic practices to support integration. Together, their combined wisdom shapes a retreat that is deeply holistic and nurturing, where each guest is truly held and cared for throughout the journey.
