The Destination

Set between the ochre walls of Marrakesh and the Atlantic shores of Essaouira, this journey moves through two of Morocco’s most iconic landscapes. At Beldi Country Club, desert gardens and views of the Atlas Mountains offer a grounded stillness just beyond the city’s walls. In Essaouira, Les Jardins de Villa Maroc sits tucked above the sea, where ocean air and winding garden paths invite a softer rhythm. A passage between land and coast, where time stretches and the senses come alive.

Accommodation

In Marrakesh: Just beyond the hum of the medina, Beldi Country Club offers a quiet escape into terracotta tones and desert gardens. Surrounded by rose bushes, olive trees, and views of the Atlas Mountains, the property blends traditional Moroccan craftsmanship with understated elegance. Guest rooms are spacious and textured — arched doorways, handmade tile floors, and vintage furnishings create a sense of grounded luxury. Earthy palettes and layered textiles invite rest, while the connection to nature is never far, with each room opening to a garden path or private terrace. A space to slow down and settle into stillness.

In Essaouira: Tucked into a lush garden above the Atlantic, Les Jardins de Villa Maroc is a coastal sanctuary wrapped in sea air and stillness. Whitewashed walls and arched stone details reflect the charm of Essaouira’s medina, while intimate nooks and glowing fireplaces offer a place to unwind. From charming garden rooms to spacious private suites, each space is styled with vintage Moroccan textiles, soft lighting, and natural materials that echo the landscape. Some open onto private terraces shaded by palms, others feature wood-burning stoves or sea views that shift with the light. With its breezy courtyards and tucked-away hammam, the space feels more like a seaside home than a hotel — intimate, soulful, and quietly restorative.
