The Destination

Near the fishing village of Savelletri di Fasano on Puglia’s Adriatic coast, Masseria Torre Coccaro is a 16th-century fortified farmhouse reimagined as one of the region’s most celebrated rural estates. Thick white stone walls, vaulted interiors, and courtyards shaded by citrus and olive trees preserve the spirit of the original masseria, while thoughtful modern comforts bring quiet refinement to the experience. A short drive away, the estate’s private beach club sits directly on the Adriatic, where clear water, seaside lunches, and long golden afternoons capture the easy rhythm of southern Italian living.

The Retreat Host

The retreat is led by Pachamama Retreat, founded by wellness facilitator Sofia Brini, whose work is inspired by her travels, time spent in India, and a deep connection to nature. Rooted in holistic living, her retreats are designed to create space for slowing down, reconnecting with what truly matters, and returning to a more balanced rhythm of life through mindful practices and shared community experiences.

During the retreat, Sofia is joined by Luce, a yoga teacher from Puglia specialising in Hatha yoga and breathwork, and Lu, who guides sound healing sessions using crystal and Tibetan bowls, adding a deeply restorative layer to the experience.

Accommodation

While all meals and activities will be held at Masseria Torre Coccaro, guests have the option of choosing between two accommodation options for the duration of the retreat. A daily private transfer service between the two masserias is included. Both properties reflect the distinctive character of Puglia’s historic masserias — white-stone farmhouses surrounded by ancient olive groves, restored with thoughtful attention to comfort and atmosphere.

At Masseria Torre Coccaro, rooms are set within the original fortified farmhouse, where vaulted stone ceilings and thick limestone walls reflect the building’s 16th-century heritage. Each room combines traditional Apulian character with thoughtful comforts, creating spaces that feel both rustic and refined.

A two-minute drive away, Masseria Don Luigi offers a more secluded countryside setting, with elegant suites opening onto gardens and terraces among the olive trees. The atmosphere here is peaceful and spacious, with soft interiors, generous rooms, and views across the beautiful rustic landscape.
