SACRED JOURNEYS
June 20th, 2025
While summer stretches on, our thoughts drift to a different kind of fall — one shaped by Caribbean ocean breezes, jungle stillness, and the slow rhythm of tropical days. This is our selection of wellness retreats for the fall season ahead: a time to reset from within and travel with intention.
MONTEGO BAY, JAMAICA
Caribbean Escape Yoga Retreat | October 22 – 26, 2025
Tucked into the hills above Montego Bay, along Jamaica’s northwestern coast, Silent Waters Villa feels like its own small world — a private multi-suite estate with sweeping ocean views, tropical gardens, and a character that embodies the ease of Caribbean living. This five-day retreat moves at a gentle rhythm, shaped by daily yoga, nourishing meals, and long afternoons that open into the island.
Led by Miami-based teacher Sydney Young, whose practice blends Vinyasa, Ashtanga, and Yin, each day unfolds with intention: morning flows overlooking the ocean, slow evenings of rejuvenation with in-villa massages, and time in between for what the island does best — catamaran rides across turquoise waters, cliff jumping into warm Caribbean shallows, or soaking up the island’s mesmerising sunsets from one of the bay’s laid-back seafront cafés.
For those seeking a blend of rejuvenation and adventure, this retreat moves to the rhythm of Jamaica itself, where daily movement, wild natural beauty, and the island’s unhurried pace create space to reconnect and recharge.
What we’re most called to experience…
Sydney’s dynamic morning flow, practiced high above the coastline, in harmony with the rhythms of the ocean and the sweep of the island below.
NOSARA, COSTA RICA
Energy Alignment Retreat | November 8 – 15, 2025
From the moment you arrive at Blue Spirit in Nosara, there’s a feeling that something sacred lives here. Legend has it the land holds ancient goddess ruins beneath the earth and the energy is palpable. Set between the jungle and the Pacific, this sanctuary can only be accessed as part of a retreat. No outside visitors, no distractions. Just space — quiet, protected, and shaped to nurture deep inner shifts.
This is where Lisa Jane White has been guiding retreats for years and where people return, time and again, for something they describe as nothing short of transformative. Her approach is intuitive, devotional, and rooted in community: a blend of yoga, meditation, mantra, and chanting, each practice unfolding in nature, embraced by the sound of the ocean and the jungle. Joining Lisa is Dr. Tia Pham, who will lead the alchemising attunement sessions, weaving together Qi Gong, breathwork, and meditation. It’s a retreat that goes beyond the physical, inviting a remembering of what’s always been whole.
Each day is nourished by meals that feel like medicine in themselves — vibrant, organic, and farm-to-table, considered by many to be a highlight of the experience. The setting, too, speaks to a way of life that runs deeper. Nosara is part of one of the world’s five Blue Zones — places where people live in tune with nature, community, and joy. There’s a lightness here, a kind of everyday happiness that infuses everything — from the pace of life to the way people connect.
What we’re most called to experience…
Lisa’s meditations, mantra, and singing — pure, potent medicine. Let it move through you, touch the most sacred part of you, and awaken what’s ready to rise.
VIEQUES, PUERTO RICO
Yoga Retreat | November 11 - 17, 2025
Found just off the coast of mainland Puerto Rico, Vieques Island is a place where wild horses run freely across untamed beaches and the pace of life slows to something more intuitive. Tucked into this landscape is Finca Victoria, a boutique Ayurvedic hotel amidst the wild jungle, with a collection of design-led spaces ranging from treehouses to villas, each offering a quiet refuge immersed in the pace of the island.
Rooted in this setting, the retreat blends energising vinyasa yoga, grounding embodiment practices, and sacred rituals. Morning flows end in savasana accompanied by live music, while afternoons offer a diverse mix of Ayurvedic and yoga workshops, with time carved out for spa treatments or island exploration.
At the heart of the experience is Sylvia De Marco, Ayurvedic consultant and founder of Finca Victoria, whose practice is guided by the belief that embodiment is a gateway to spirit. Her approach to Ayurveda is woven through every part of the retreat — from morning Dinacharya rituals to the vibrant, nourishing meals that reflect the island’s seasonal abundance.
Here, movement is healing, nourishment is ritual, and nature is guide. A space not just for rest, but for remembering what balance feels like.
What we’re most called to experience…
The subtle but powerful shifts that come from living in rhythm with Ayurvedic principles — clearer energy, steadier digestion, and a felt sense of harmony that begins to take root from the inside out.
ANTIGUA, GUATEMALA
Flow and Release | October 26 – 30, 2025
Just outside Antigua, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its colonial architecture and cobbled streets, Villa Bokéh offers a peaceful escape in Guatemala’s abundant highlands. Surrounded by mountain peaks and flower-filled gardens, this boutique Relais & Châteaux hacienda blends local craftsmanship with quiet elegance. Imagine handwoven textiles, reflecting ponds, and six acres of space to breathe.
At the heart of the retreat is the art of surrender. Led by Alexa Baboun and Anick Vorbe — yoga teachers, creatives, and founders of Flow House — the experience is a curated blend of powerful movement and replenishing ritual. Morning practices energise with vinyasa and mat pilates, while evenings soften into meditation, sound healing, and restorative yoga. Between sessions, there’s space to explore, get a birth chart reading, or simply enjoy the villa’s amenities and treatments.
A retreat designed to clear the noise, restore your rhythm, and bring you back to yourself —— secluded within a private garden oasis, in the still embrace of Guatemala’s volcanoes.
What we’re most called to experience…
Nightly collective rituals of reflection and integration, designed to hold space and deepen shared intention.
